3. No account, no payment

You do not need to register, log in, or pay to use this site.

4. No purchases and no refunds

This site does not sell anything. There is no checkout, no subscription, no in-app purchase, and no paid tier. Because no payment is ever taken, there is nothing to refund and we do not operate a refund policy.

If that ever changes, this section will be updated and a refund policy will be published before any payment functionality goes live.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes, and you may share links to it.

You must not:

7. Data sources and accuracy

We compile our figures from public sources, including data published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and fueleconomy.gov, and publicly published charging-network pricing.

We take reasonable care to reproduce these figures accurately and to show when the data was last updated. We do not warrant that the data is complete, error-free, or current at every moment, and we explicitly do not claim our output is "100% accurate" or "exact".

8. Third-party links and affiliate relationships

Some pages may link to third-party sites, including retailers and service providers.

We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, pricing, or practices.
If and when affiliate links are used, they will be disclosed on the page, above the first such link, and we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Commission relationships never determine the estimates the calculator produces.

9. Advertising
